An account of the craftwork I get up to, tatting, spinning, knitting, sewing, whatever

Detour
I'm going to demonstrate how to make beaded crochet ropes on Tuesday. I've given away most of my beaded crochet bracelets, so I thought I'd better make a few before Tuesday. I've threaded beads for a third one:
Both are so pretty ! I have Pony beading needles, too (but uncoloured) and I can't get Any thread through them, including beading wire and that polyester/transparent thread :-( But I'm finally glad the stabbing worked
I have struggled, I know your problem! Now I’ve found a polyester thread that goes through easily, but the knot keeps coming undone. I intend to see if I can use the polyester thread to pull through another thread, but I haven’t tried it yet.
I just love the different designs and colors!! :)

DeleteI would love to make a beaded crochet bracelet, wish you were not so far away and then you could teach me!
ReplyDeleteOoh! I love the one in blues and white!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bracelets
ReplyDeleteI love beading detours😃❤😃just thinking of taking one
ReplyDeletethese are lovely! Are they quick to make? They look like they'd take days
ReplyDeleteA bracelet is quick to make, I can make a couple in a day if the pattern is 6 around. Necklaces take longer.
