I made these pot holders in black and white as a house warming gift for a friend. I was glad I looked up my
previous post about pot holders because it not only had the links to the patterns, it had a reminder that I'd found a better way of starting the zig zag pattern. Aha, I'd forgotten that.
A lovely housewarming gift, and especially effective making different designs in the same colours.
ReplyDeleteThey're very well done! Your friends will love that! When I saw the title I thought you'd started writing in Italian, lol! Chiaroscuro is actually an Italian word! Then I looked it up in the dictionary and found the same it's English, too. That's great!
ReplyDeleteA word I learnt when I was studying Communications. Apt, I think!
DeleteI love these! What a great gift. Funny how we forget our own tips 😊
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Very elegant -not a word for most potholders but these are!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI had to look up chiaroscuro when it hit me that I've read about it extensively in Rembrandt's work! Fits aptly!!! I think this combo is the best of the 3 pairs and I do like your method for the zigzag one.
