Natural Texture
My two knitting projects are progressing but it's more of the same. So I thought I'd show some photos I took in England in October. I like the textures. The one below I took after a hail storm just after I got home:
No better inspiration & diversity than that in Nature ! You have shared some superb photos. Any idea what the climber on the wall is? Were the colours just so vibrant & majestic in real ? Last night I watched some movie called "The Woods" & this climber reminds me of the ones shown there ;-))
Hail?? - Hail in Queensland hurtles from the sky in cricket-ball size. There are many cars driving around Brisbane at the moment, bearing the scars of last month's huge storm, thankfully I was tucked up safely at home and our car was under cover.I like the middle picture, is it an Oast house?
The hail stones were marble size, but there were a great many of them! The building was originally a windmill, then was converted as part of a brewery, Bateman's brewery in Lincolnshire.
I am sorry I can't see enough of the plant to tell what it is, I have a couple of ideas but without seeing it better I can't tell you. Yes we do get hail usually small ice bits not as big as the hail that landed in Brisbane recently. We did see the pictures on our news. Lovely pictures Margaret

I don't know what the creeper is, but it certainly was vibrant.
