This is my table at the beginning of the Christmas fair on Saturday. It didn't look all that different at the end, but I did sell some things - pincushions, earrings, little bags, baubles.... I also bought things from other stalls, supported the community and had a pleasant morning. A fair result!
Looks like a lot of beautiful work there!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is nice and fun to enjoy the community, I have not mastered selling items at a booth yet. One day I will try again. your table looks good. I have not made the gecko yet and want to soon but I didn't realize it is that big, looks good and have something in mind for it so that looks like a good size.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very nice, Jane! But that gekko stands out in any crowd!
ReplyDeleteFinally after all that preparation it has happened! Great to see your table, and pleased you sold some bits and pieces. I would gather that you will have stock for another time, always helpful. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLooks a lovely table, so glad you sold some bits, there's not a lot of money around at the moment anywhere in the workd, so it makes life hard for us crafters

The gecko is eyecatching! - is he on a bag? I hope he went to a good home. And I'm sure the Christmas baubles would have tempted people to open their wallets. You enjoyed it, and that's what matters most.
ReplyDeleteYes, Chantal and Maureen, the gecko attracted a lot of comments, though the bag didn't sell.
DeleteA nice looking table and well done one your sales! I had a stall selling cards last year and enjoyed it very much.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you had a good time - that's really what it's all about! I'm sure if you attend more of these, word will get out!
ReplyDeleteI agree that the gecko is an eye-catcher! Our group (three of us) will be at two events these next two weekends! I have to get my displays and costume ready! We always have a good time, and if sales are good, it's icing on the cake! But it's always fun chatting with visitors and seeing the other vendors again!
