Spring Colours

I've finished spinning the wool I dyed last week. Spring colours. Winter is trying to hang on, we've had frost every morning since Friday. But Spring is creeping up anyway. The nectarine tree is in flower:
And lambs are being born:
Spring wool, ready to be knitted:

  1. Love the lambs. What kind are they?

    1. They are Dorpers. I think it's a breed developed in this part of the world, originally Dorset Horn cross Persian. Strictly a meat breed. Weirdly, this year we have 8 male lambs to only 1 female!

  2. Beautiful soft colors, and the yarn looks very soft, too. How nice to see spring photos from your part of the world!

  3. Lovely wool in lovely colors that match the environment. Strange to see these lambs in front of a very African background. I expect Impala's,..

  4. A nice shade of wool you have spun! Our weather in England is turning wet and cold now, we have gone from summer to winter overnight!

  5. Lovely wool, and I'm looking forward to seeing it all knitted up. Nice to see your spring photos as we are at the end of summer here.
