Fox pointed out (or The Little Brother pointed out) that tatted gifts shouldn't just be for girls. The tat-it-and-see yacht is off to my grandson, adorning a bag for marbles. I had the idea when
Jane Eborall completed the
TIAS, but it took me a while to find the marbles!
Perfect match! I tatted my five-year-od grandson the tractor last year - he loved it, but it was hard on the hands, using size 10 thread with all those split rings.
ReplyDeleteReally serious when you 'loose your marbles"!!! Adorable little bag, a great idea, have bags of marbles but no grandchildren to give them to.
ReplyDeleteYour grandson will be delighted with this lovely bag!
ReplyDeletewonderful!
ReplyDeletePerfect bag for the marbles! He will be delighted with it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! I’ve lost all mine! : ))
ReplyDeleteThat is brilliant! He is going to love it!.
I understand that you searched a very long time for these marbles. I was 14 when I lived in Paramaribo,Surinam. My mum and I rode around town a whole day before we found a t-shirt. It was orange and had a pineaple printed on it. We care about such things a lot more than about items that are easy to find in a supermarket.
