Progress on Round 9

There are 30 circles in this outer row and I've done 14, so I'm nearly half way.

  1. I don't think I've ever seen a large doily being tatted as quickly as this one is! How many hours a day are you spending on it ? It's lovely, a really beautiful piece, and well meets the requirement for traditional tatting for your competition.

    1. Too many, is probably the answer! Actually, it's very variable, depending on what else is going on. Yesterday I spend much of the day tatting. Today not so much.

  2. Very pretty. Will that be the last row? What size is it?

    1. Yes, this is the last row. It's about 45 cm, but I'll measure more accurately when it's finished and blocked.

    1. Thank you. You're right, it may be traditional, but it's also pretty.

    1. About 45 minutes. More if I make a mistake. Less if I get into a good rhythm!
