The Real Deal

Yesterday, when I took my embroidery to Corlie, I asked her if I could take a photo of her work and put it on my blog. She kindly agreed, and so here it is.

I'm not going to carry on with Schwalm embroidery for the next competition. To produce work like this takes more time and dedication than I am prepared to put in.  I enjoyed learning about Schwalm embroidery, but for me it was just a minor diversion from tatting!

  1. You've put the hours and the work and the dedication into learning this beautiful needlework , so I think you can rest on your laurels! I've enjoyed the journey with you.

  2. Wow. Amazing.

I know how you feel. Years ago I ventured into hardanger territory. Just now my Ipad insisted on spelling that hard anger!!! That about sums up what I wanted to say!

Good that you gave it a go as it all is great experience and you managed to pull off a lovely piece of work to boot!
