I have crocheted the neck and edging of the poncho to complete it. Now I have no excuse for not cleaning my windows! To wrap it up, the pattern was designed by Stacey Lozano, I found it on Ravelry. The wool is handspun, 21 microns, hercosette (ie treated so that it won't felt) dyed in the microwave.
It looks perfect for snuggling into - Brisbane is very nearly freezing this evening!
ReplyDeleteWow, Love it !!! Gorgeous .
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, you Do have an excuse Not to do the windows ..... you still have to look for / finalise the knitting and embroidery patterns, & then get to work on them ;-P
Need more excuses ? I've got a long list of them ;-P
Ah, there are always excuses! But actually I have cleaned the windows, so I can see out and the sunshine can come in. (no, no, they weren't really that bad!!)
DeleteYou must be very happy with your poncho, the style is very nice and the colour choice is lovely. How about a picture of you showing it off !
ReplyDeleteYour poncho look perfect! I never did get to my windows this weekend... too cold, too much rain... any excuse will do! However, like you, I do enjoy the sunshine streaming through clean windows, so I'm sure they'll get done when the weather turns warmer at the end of the week.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! The color you chose for the edge really bring it together! Is it warm? Hoe does it hang when you wear it? It really looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's very warm. It hangs well and the filled in neckline looks fine.
DeleteReally beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat poncho!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. It's neat that the edging echos the white stitching in the poncho.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery well done. The colors work well together.
ReplyDeleteThose colours work so well together and it will keep you warm on the chilly days.
