Just. I finished round 10 and made a start on
round 11. After two rounds that required two shuttles, I merrily wound two shuttles with green for this round. Oops. One shuttle and ball would be fine. It's not serious, but will mean more joins than strictly necessary.
This was a big doily she did, and you have plenty of time to finish cause I think she only has one round to go on her latest one. I used small thread and it is barely big enough to be called a doily! I was looking at her super big one called "honey" and thinking to go do that one ha ha :)
ReplyDeleteGo for it! As long as you have enough thread on hand, it's just a matter of doing row after row to achieve something amazing.
DeleteJoins used to intimidate me, but now they're just a part of my tatting life. This doily is going to be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLooking good so far, it's going to be a lovely doily when finished
ReplyDeleteI love these colors, your students will be much inspired and motivated to learn tatting.
ReplyDeleteLooks great :). Love the colours :).
