I'm making progress on the second sleeve of my cardigan. I had to increase on every 8th row, which on a 12 row pattern boggled my mind a bit. So on the first sleeve, after I made each increase, I wrote down which row the next increase would be on. On the second sleeve, I crossed those figures off as I completed the increases. Now I'm increasing every 6th row, which is easy.
Gorgeous stitch pattern :). Looking forward to seeings pics of it finished :).
ReplyDeleteA nice cardigan, the pattern looks complex, is it an advanced design?
ReplyDeleteI'd call it intermediate. It's not all that tricky - a simple cable and a six row, 5 stitch lace pattern. It's called Katharine Hepburn Jacket, designed by Kathy Zimmerman, a free pattern from Knitting Daily.
DeleteI hate sleeves one way I do them if I can is do them both together, the wool balls might get twisted up as I go but at least my increase are on the same row hopefully.
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern.

I love this too. I did a pair of socks with a cable for a baby over a year ago and downloaded it from a free sight I did have fun and even though some call it easy I was on the internet consistently getting refresher courses! :)
ReplyDeleteI guess anything is easy if you know how! It's wonderful to be able to look things up on the internet for a refresher.
