More Fiddling

I like the top sample, but realised I had strayed far from the original picture. The chains are too prominent. Back to the picture and my original samples. I wanted to do a good length to get the rhythm of it, get my head around it, basically. Both of them will make good bracelets, I think. I must write down what I did so that I can do it again!

  1. I like the top one the best, and I agree they would both make a nice bracelet, Very different pattern.

  2. They both are very nice, worth writing down, it's hard to do both!

  3. Beautiful. Are both done with four shuttles? The second one looks so involved.

    1. There's one shuttle and a ball thread in each colour, Phyllis. The top one is just alternating rings and chains, but each grey ring is joined to the next through a black ring; each black ring joined to the next through a grey ring. The second one is more tricky to explain. Grey ring and chain, then a black SCMR, which is threaded through the grey ring before closing. I just had to remember to thread the SCMR in the same way each time.

  4. Both are pretty, but I think I prefer the bottom one. It looks very substantial!
