Round 4 Begun
I've made a start to the fourth round of Renulek's doily. Here's a link to the pattern for the round. It takes longer and longer to do each round of a doily as it grows, of course, but this is almost like three rows in one, so it will take a while.
So pretty in these colours! I haven't started round five, as I am not sure how to choose the colour combination, so mine is sitting on the desk as it is. :) Have you thought how you might do it? I shall be watching with interest.
I'm enjoying this - but I am already worrying about your vintage thread - will you have enough??
ReplyDelete:-) Yes, I should do, there are several balls of each colour. That's one of the reasons I decided on these colours rather than white.

ReplyDeleteI haven't made any decisions yet, but perhaps the 'stars' in pink and the inbetween bits in green?
DeleteThis second round goes tastefully with the fist it's so delicate to look at! I am really having fun watching this grow!
ReplyDeleteIt's absolutely gorgeous!!!! :) I truly love the colors!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is, I didn't really like the colours individually, but together they work well.
DeleteSo pretty! I haven't been inspired to join in the fun of tatting this doily, but I do enjoy reading about those who are working on it.
