Our lockdown has been eased and things are beginning to normalise. I'm going to a market on Saturday. At the last market, it was a little disconcerting to see people walk past my stall without even seeing it! Clearly I need something to catch their attention. I got inspiration here and there, experimented some, chucked out this idea and that idea... Eventually I've come up with this:
I also covered a couple of boxes of different sizes in grey fabric to put bracelets on:
Good thing Jack's shirts were in a colour that lends itself to the job so I could use the scraps. Anyway, I hope this market is more successful than the last one I did, even if only in terms of holding interesting conversations!
I love the chain necklace, if that doesn't catch someone's eye I'd give up, lol

Good luck! I think your idea of covering boxes with fabric for your display is wonderful. I hope you have lots of good conversation and sales as well!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks fabulous!! :)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about the 5 craft shows I did. Very little interest in tatting. I hope you do really well and get lots of interest in all your wonderful items!!! :)
Those certainly should catch people’s eyes. Love the chain and the flowery necklaces. Good luck with the market.
ReplyDeleteYou got it exactly right 😍 And the 2 doilies caught my eye as well 😃💕
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the very best 🍀
Good luck in the market.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the market, your necklace should knock them over to buy it
