Masks In Progress

Because I can sew, I tend to forget that others can't or don't want to! I mentioned masks on an online group this morning and promptly had a request for five. I'm seeing the person tomorrow, so I had better whiz them up today. These are rather boring compared to the brocade ones  but hopefully they'll do the job.

  1. The white one at the front looks as if it's going to be a bra!!!!

    1. I know, I can understand all the early jokes where people wore bras as masks!

  2. They look like they give good cover. Tom has to have his oxygen on so is exempt from wearing one, lucking in one way.

  3. I kind of feel sorry for those who can't sew. It's such an enjoyable activity!

  4. Sewing is relaxing if you don’t rush. They look nice.

  5. Many people have asked me to make them a mask and I do mainly because as you say they cannot sew or cannot be bothered. Although I so hate making them, but believe it is good to have reusable ones. I do not like seeing people wearing the disposable ones, which to my mind have their place in hospitals or medical settings. Then of course there is the litter and the sheer carelessness of people who drop them everywhere. Then there is the people who wear them incorrectly or put them around their chin. I just could go on and on, the whole mask business drives me crazy. They are necessary but there are so many issues that need to be addressed. Ok finished!!! sorry! Yours look really lovely, plain or fancy and you are doing such a great job.
