I've finished the black and brights beaded bead necklace. I strung the beaded beads sideways, rather than end to end, to try to show off the 'spider' pattern. Of course the beads swivel on the string, so I'm not sure how well that works. My text is shown as underlined in the draft. I don't know if the underlining will show when I publish it. Last time I wrote, I spent a lot of time and energy trying to get rid of the underlining, and then when I published the post, there was no underlining! I have reduced the size of the text on my photos, as well as making the photos small rather than medium as I used to do. The idea is to claim ownership of the photo, not shout my name at you!
I love the necklace, and I think the spider pattern shows off well! I don't see the underlining when just reading your post, but I noticed that if I move my cursor over the text the underlining appears. This is all so strange!
ReplyDeleteReally? That is strange.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAll these crazy changes in all these programs causing so many strange things. I have the same thing as Diane with your underlining, but I only found out from reading her comment. ;)
I asked my daughter, the web designer, and got that look: don't mess with something you shouldn't touch. She's older now and recommends to check the HTML tag. I'll have to look to see where to view the HTML. Huzzah for complicated!

ReplyDeleteThanks. It’s all a little daunting.
DeleteWow that is fabulous those beads must have taken ages and they are beautiful
ReplyDeleteJane, you must be the queen bead. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteAS to the underline problem. In blogger, edit the post and click the pencil icon on the left. Select HTML view. Look at the post code and see if there are underline tags. They will look like < u > at the start and < /u > at the end without the spaces in them. Delete the tags to remove underlines.
Right. Thanks very much Tim.
DeleteWonderful necklace, your "beaded beads" are so lovely (and I loved your clever idea of the paper to separate beads). It is not fast to do the same in tatting but it could be done... But then, who's going to see the difference?
ReplyDeleteAbout the text, I don't see it underlined, but they are two links to the url of the pictures. If I click on the text, it opens the pictures. I think that you should select the text and remove the link, so that all the underlying will disappear. Hope that helps.
Thanks Ninetta.
DeleteI'm glad you strung the beads sideways - I hadn't noticed the spidery poles earlier! 💖
