I've finished knitting the second
sock. I like knitting the second sock because all the decisions, such as how wide to make the cuff, have been made, so just do it. And I want to see how the pair looks. I think I'll be able to make a couple more pairs like this to use up my sock wool stash.
Nice socks! You must be one of the few knitters who isn't stricken by SSS- second sock syndrome.I am tatting tiny booties for a christening cake, and am not looking forward to starting all over again with the second one.
ReplyDeleteI like the term SSS syndrome, I get that, lol

I cannot get over how wonderful these are. They are quite pretty, No one would believe the combinations are the result of the ends of skeins!
ReplyDeleteThey look great!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCozy toes!
ReplyDeleteThese are Great !!! Love the texture - almost like the honeycomb stitch, but so much easier with same visual effect!
ReplyDeleteSuper socks! have put them straight on my to do list. For all you people with sss it can be cured by using a circular needle and knitting both socks at the same time. An extra bonus is that you don't have to count rows to keep them both the same
