I'm in the process of blocking triangles, as advised in the pattern. I drew a triangle with 20 cm sides on a piece of fabric and pinned it to a dishcloth, to act as a guide:
I pin each triangle to the cloth, stretching it slightly to fit the template, cover it with a damp cloth and press is lightly.
Only 63 of them to do before I can join them together to make a blanket.
63? That's a lot of work!!!
ReplyDeleteA little blocking here, a little there... you'll be joining motifs in no time!
ReplyDeleteShiver me timbers ! Let the countdown begin ;-P
ReplyDeleteBut I do like your practical solution to blocking ! I've often wondered how to get the perfect shape without a proper mat.
Can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteYour method will save you time and guesswork and result in perfectly blocked triangles. It will get done dear.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of blocking, I must say that I don't always bother to block, I am to impatient!
