The triangles blanket is ready to be parceled up for posting. The triangle pattern is
here, but Lucy didn't join the triangles, she used them for bunting. My inspiration for joining the triangles together is
here. I saw it on Pinterest and then worked back to find the pattern. My blanket is made from handspun wool. Cream is the natural colour, the colours were dyed in my microwave using acid dyes.
It's beautiful! - I followed your link to see how it's joined, and it's so interesting! - joining six triangles to make circles, all the way through. I think I remember that you said you had 66 triangles to crochet? - so it all worked out perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I had worked out 63 triangles, but I hadn't given enough thought to how the side edges were going to work, so I had to crochet a few more to fill in gaps. The final tally is 68 triangles.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, l love it😄💟😄

That is an adorable blanket!
ReplyDeleteI never expected circles! But what a wonder! First my eye caught the circles and then the triangles. Such gorgeous soft colors. You've done a marvelous job!
ReplyDeleteLove it !! Especially how you left the curves and arches along the border ! Unique and a pretty gift for a little girl :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how it has such a unique shape and stands out!!! :)
Your triangle blanket is beautiful and I love the circles they form also. I am amazed at your ability to spin and dye your own wool. Gorgeous!
