The designer of this butterfly is unknown, ( and beyond a copyright time frame) but Claudia Huber counted the stitches and muskaan wrote a pattern and diagram, which you can find
here. It's a pretty butterfly, well worth adding to my collection of butterfly patterns, and muskaan's directions are very clear, thanks.
It is a pretty butterfly, but I was immediately reminded of Pookie, the rabbit with wings! - are you familiar with the Pookie books? - I used to love them, and this butterfly's body does look rather like a rabbit. Or maybe I'm just channelling last years'TIAS since the new one starts tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I loved Pookie books too. Haven't thought of those for a long time!
DeleteGreat butterfly!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love butterflies and your colors are very cute 💟🌸💟
ReplyDeleteHa ha! It DOES look like Pookie! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely butterfly, yes the pattern is well written, I have done one but as yet not blogged it,
ReplyDeleteLove your version ! And I haven't read Pookie, but now I do see a rabbit body :-D So there's collaboration in the animal world, too ;-P
ReplyDeleteThis butterfly is great. It's so nice to have access to the pattern! Thanks to all involved.
ReplyDeleteI keep trying to catch up with your posts, and your energy level! Beautiful hardanger bookmark - looks perfect to me! The crocheted blanket is gorgeous, and the tip on not using pins is excellent. I checked the video on how to attach the squares, and it is so nicely done! Excellent method! I can't get over the variety of things you get accomplished!
beautifully tatted, love the colors
