Squareish

This is motif 46, the cover motif. I followed Jon's  suggestion and blocked the bare threads to form a zig zag, rather than looking random. Thanks Jon!

  2. I am really loving this doily, it has such a fragile, detailed look. The soft colors are perfect!

  3. Very pretty and I like the zigzags. I'm not sure I'd call it square though.

  6. I like it - the "subtle square" or "blink 'n' miss square" :-)))

  7. Lovely. Maybe does it need to be blocked in a squared position?

  9. I see the square. Very subtle. It has turned out beautifully. Love the whimsy of the floating beads in 2nd picture, too! Your approach to tatting all of the patterns in this book makes me think it might be a good idea to do this with some of the books I own. I actually have some from which I haven't tatted the first project! I'm not sure where I would start, but it's something to think about. I've certainly enjoyed following your progress with this one.
