Back To The Book
Our power was off all morning. Of course tatting doesn't require electricity, so it was a good excuse to get on with the next motif in the Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito. It's the one that's on the cover. And the first in the three-shuttle section. I had to study the diagram quite carefully to make sure I understood the pattern path. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I have the picots the right lengths so that it will form a circle without cupping.

ReplyDeleteIt's a good excuse with no electricity to tat
I look forward to seeing your interpretation of the pattern!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's going to be wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely already, I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThree shuttles! Wow. While I've used 3 threads, I've not yet used 3 shuttles. This is a beautiful motif. I look forward to seeing the others.
ReplyDeleteGetting even more exciting now, with 3 shuttles :-)
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing Diane's July projects today, it struck me that it would be interesting to see a consolidated pic of projects from each section you have tatted so far. Willing to go thru the trouble ? :-)
It's a good idea. I confess I have given some of them away as thank you gifts, so I can't do it in the real world, though I could perhaps make a collage of the photos.
DeleteOh, it looks enticing. Such a pretty design. Looking forward to seeing more.
