I don't normally knit both sleeves at once, but I thought I'd follow Jenn's suggestion and give it a go. So far, so good. It will take a long time to knit across once all the increases have been done, but when I'm done I'll be done and not have to start all over again.
I think my mom does that as well. I've tried knitting two socks at a time, and I'm terrible with that concept! Sleeves might be a bit different.
ReplyDeleteYou are making good progress, it is a good idea to knit both the sleeves at once at least like you say you won't have the feeling that once finished you have to start all over again with the second sleeve.
ReplyDeleteGreat method!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That sweater is going to be done soon!! :)
ReplyDeleteSeems like it will take forever but no remembering what you did on the first sleeve will probably save more time in the end. Knitting Bliss...
ReplyDeleteI haven't made a sweater for years, but I remember that dread of starting over with the second sleeve. Yours looks like a good idea.
ReplyDeleteLooks great so far :). Hopefully it doesn't get too crowded on the needles with both sleeves :). Forgot it was adult size you're knitting :).
ReplyDeleteI always do the sleeves together so the increases are the same, when I get too many stitches and the increases are done I finish off doing one at a time, it takes no longer to do bother together as doing then single
ReplyDeleteMargaret
Ah, that's an idea, thanks.
DeleteAnd that's the reason I don't add sleeves .... only magyar or sleeveless at least for myself ((( sheepish grin )))
ReplyDeleteReally Really love the colour of this yarn ! By the time you receive/read this comment, your sleeves will be all knit & ready to sew :-D
