This is Jane Eborall's pattern. I love the shape of it, but my colour choice is not good. The difference between the two colours is too stark. God's Kid version is much better. I almost gave up on it half way, but decided to use it as a practice piece. I'll make it again some day in more complementary colours.
It is cute, I like this zebra feeling:)
ReplyDeleteI like this and it is fascinating how they the color doesn't fade from one to another and that it is 2 colors usually variegated is several colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a lovely shape, on my list now...
ReplyDeleteI noticed that God's Kid used split chains to climb out of rounds. With 2 different colours that wouldn't have been possible, right ? My interest is coz just a couple days back I was practising the SCh ....
ReplyDeleteSo did youtie off after each round, Jane?
I did use a split chain. Have to do SLT in the middle to get the colours right. Took me a minute to figure out, but it is possible!
DeleteInteresting ! Thanks :-) Must keep this in mind ...
DeleteYes I like it, it's nice to see two colours that are not variegated but plain and put together.

I think yours looks wonderful!!! :) The colors situated themselves so nicely on yours. I just used all one variegated color on mine. :)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing it in more complimentary colours or indeed just one colour. : )
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Jane! The 2 colors mix and match very well! Gk's is nice as well, but it is another style. Black and white happen to be very fashionable in CWE, this year!
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast. It helps me see how the pattern works.
ReplyDeleteIt looks totally different in your colour choices--I like them both.
