Not Done Yet

I finished my top this morning, yay. I tried it on and was happy with the result, except that it's a bit short. I have some wool left over, so I'll pick up stitches around the bottom with a circular needle and knit downwards. Ribbing came to mind immediately, but there are other possibilities, so I may contemplate for a bit.

  1. Fired with enthusiasm after a needle tatting class, I would add a tatted border to the bottom! - you can use the same yarn .

  3. I did wonder about the dimensions. Looked a tad short. If it were me, I would find a longer brown or black camisole and leave it be. Adding to it might be busy.... ? It is very cute the way it is!

    1. I'll keep that in mind in case adding a rib doesn't work.

  4. What a pity but there's always more than one way to conquer the problem

  5. The colors are so lovely and pleasing to the eye, I'm glad you're able to "fix" it so that you can wear it. I would have to unravel and start over!!!
