I've finished the Diana necklace. The pattern is by Gunhild Fette, you can find it on her blog
here. Guni's blog is in German and in English, and the pattern has an English version. The pattern gives clear instructions for adding beads to a Single shuttle split ring. Since I've never done that before, this is number 17 for my
25 motif challenge. (My self-imposed challenge is to learn 25 new techniques).
Well done, a lovely necklace and beautiful colours.

Just had a look at that pattern. Looks formidable! You mastered the technique beautifully! Congrats.

It is a fiddle. I'm not sure the outcome shows how much effort went into it!
DeleteLovely! I've printed out the pattern, but that's as far as I've gotten. I like your idea of using the multi-colored thread and one color of beads.
ReplyDeleteEasier to thread!
DeleteI'd say you've got that technique down pat! Looking at it from here, I'd say it was worth the fiddle!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThat is a wonderful necklace!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have the same self-imposed challenge, but I think I am failing at mine(we'll see how fall turns out). :)
I haven't made mine yet either. I have until September and still 8 more to learn!
DeleteOh that's so pretty, Jane,I like your necklace... thanks for giving it a try.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern though it has so many possibilities to make. Looking forward to the earings ;))
Happy tatting from
