A gift shop down the road sells my bath puppets on commission. I went down there last week and discovered that they had only hippos left. I'm a bit puzzled that a whole herd of them has been rejected, but there you go. I made some replacements over the weekend - lion, monkey, crocodile, frog and Fido the puppy. I took them along yesterday and did a swap.

ReplyDeleteWondering why, and the only thing that comes to mind is perhaps they are not jazzy enough to stand out? Accessorise it in starkly contrasting colours ?
ReplyDeleteYour Hippo would probably fit well into a Nordic interior. I think it would sell well here, we use a lot of restrained colors.
