An account of the craftwork I get up to, tatting, spinning, knitting, sewing, whatever

I was so focused on the polka dots that I didn't look very closely at the fabric itself - it's very light and plasticky. I carried on regardless. I like the dress, but suspect it won't be one of my more long lasting garments.
What a great dress! Will it be warm if it's plasticky or just not tooo durable?ReplyDelete
I think it won’t be durable. But I’ll wear it until it falls apart!Delete
Nice dress! :)ReplyDelete
The dress looks nice :) And if the fabric does not last long, at least you have tested a pattern you'll be able to use again with another fabric.ReplyDelete
Too bad - the dress is really cute! You're a fine seamstress.ReplyDelete
Looks good, with an underskirt underneath it you won't feel the 'plasticky'ReplyDelete
It looks so pretty!!ReplyDelete
An excuse to buy more comfy fabric for another dress ;-P
This is beautiful, you could have said nothing about the plastic feel and we would have never known 😃ReplyDelete
I like it! Red is such a cheerful color!ReplyDelete
I think polka dots are cheerful too. You can't be glum wearing polka dots surely?ReplyDelete
It looks like a nice easy dress.
