I created two triangles for the front of my waistcoat. Now I'm joining them to the back. That means I'll be able to work right across, up to the armholes. I'm making this up as I go along, I hope it'll work! (Scroll down a couple of posts to find a link to the Atty's dots pattern I'm using for the motifs).
This is excellent !!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's working to me! You are so creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm SURE it'll work. I once knitted a jumper. For one half I knitted from the cuff up to the middle of the front/back and for the other half I knitted from the bottom rib up, over and down the back. Took me ages to work out the 'how to' of it but it was well worth it. Striped too so very effective. Looking forward to your next instalment.
ReplyDeleteMust've looked wonderful! I used to design sweaters like that in a previous existence but I haven't done one with crocheted hexagons before.
