Lesson Three
Don't look too closely. This is the bookmark that is lesson three of Carol Leather's Hardanger course. I'm going to take it to the next craft group meeting and get advice from the experienced embroiderers on how to improve on it.
You are doing great. You just need more practice. One tip on the buttonhole stitch, keep the needle in the fabric when you loop the thread around it and pull snug against the needle. You will get a more uniform edge.
It looks so good! Lots of painstaking stitching, will you put a tassel on it?
ReplyDeleteLooks brilliant to me and a lot better than I would have done
ReplyDeleteWell done
Mmm, no, I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteTerrific progress. I admire you for tackling this craft. I'm tempted but will resist!!!!
