I've reached the body part of the pullover. The pattern uses the length of raglan sleeve to determine when to cast off for the underarms. I used the bust measurement to double check, and hooray, it's correct. So I can safely knit round and round. It's a good pick up/put down project in between other tasks.
It's looking very good Jane. I too have never knitted from the neck downwards, always upwards! I expect you have a degree in maths to work out the gauge etc. The speed you produce garments always makes me envious. Looking forward to seeing it completed.
ReplyDeleteYea!
ReplyDeleteYou must be a fast knitter!! You are making lots of progress on that and you just started!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely !! Waiting to see more :-)
ReplyDeleteLooking lovely and they are fast to knit, I am not sure about but mine worked out well and I am on my second, I don't know if they are quicker or not?

A sweater that does not fit across the bust will not be used much. So happy to hear that this pattern works.
ReplyDeleteThe jumper is taking shape nicely, you will soon have it finished!
