I went to a craft group meeting yesterday. We made bird feeders, using enamel plates and beads. That's me on the right of the picture. Corlie is holding up her completed bird feeder. I plan to hang my feeder up in the tree outside the dining room window. But I'm hoping that the Rock Pigeons will be too heavy to use it. There are too many of them in the garden already and I don't want to encourage them by feeding them.
Those look like great bird feeders! At long last I have a face to put with a name. It's great to see you!
ReplyDeleteLooks fun, keep us posted on the pigeons :)

Love the feeder! We are trying to come up with something to protect our bluebirds from the naughty (and large) ravens.
ReplyDeletePigeons do tend to gorge, irrespective of their appetites ;-P
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to pics of the bird feeder on the tree. It will make such a lovely sight, with birds flocking around. It is a very clever design.
What a good idea for a bird feeder, the dishes will hold a lot of food and hopefully the greedy pigeons will not get at it!
