Yes, I know it's January, but I thought that
Frivole's motif would be good to try out my new shuttle. I did larkshead picot joins in the middle. Interesting how they look interlinked. I think that's because the picots are so close to each other. Frivole's original has 'invisible' joins in the middle, but I quite like the effect of these. The thread is
Tat-ilicious key lime raspberry parfait
.
Beautiful motif. That tread is delicious looking. Love that shuttle! I have that thread from Jess too, but please do tell more about where you got that beautiful shuttle.
ReplyDeleteLooks stunning!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane! I have been having computer trouble since Christmas and have not seen your blog lately. What a beautiful shuttle and a sweet husband for having it made for you. It pleases me that you made a beaded bag for it. It is stunning as well.
ReplyDeleteI am still making Frivole's snowflakes, too. Getting a head start on next Christmas. :-)
I have made a few more of your flower dangles, they were such a big hit with everyone.
Happy New Year!
Thanks, and Happy New Year to you too!
DeleteHere is snow and cold weather, so it is so good to see colors like that. The snowflake became a pretty pendant:)))
ReplyDeleteI have had the interlocking picots show up using the LHPJ before too. They are rather fun.
ReplyDeleteJess!'s colorway is very pretty and bright.
Lovely motif! I like your new shuttle so much, I'm thinking of visiting a jeweler friend to see if I can have a custom shuttle made for me! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood idea. Jack reckons we should take orders for this jeweller, but I'm not sure how practical that is.
DeleteWell, it might not be practical, but it sure would be fun! Would you let me know if the jeweller is interested and what the cost would be?
DeleteOk, I'll make some enquiries and come back to you.
DeleteGorgeous!! :)
