I found a
tutorial showing how to make a very small bow using a fork. When I was a child, I read about making pom poms using a fork, but there was no internet then and I couldn't quite figure it out. Actually, I think it must use the same principle as these bows. Small bows can be fiddly to make neatly, so I'm happy to find a solution when I want to decorate coat hangers or whatever.
I've never seen anything like this before! - quite amazing. And once again, the ends of the ribbon are burned!
ReplyDeleteSo I am learning another new thing this evening!
I really like the shear ribbons and using the fork great idea I always take a stitch to secure them or a touch of glue. This hanger is just beautiful love the colors,
ReplyDeleteLovely little bows, actually there is such a thing as a bow maker, its sold here in the UK by the Glitter Girls and is used for card making but to be honest it could be used for anything that needs a bow.

I should think that if you were making a lot of bows, a bow maker would be a good idea.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I do have a few forks around. I might even be able to scrounge up some ribbon. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link. This will come in handy.
