Flower Earrings
Following a suggestion made by Martha Ess I turned the flower dangle into flower earrings by using size 40 thread and tiny beads. Hmmm, I think I'll have to make a pair of these for myself.
It's pretty simple. Just a ring with five long, beaded picots for petals. I used a piece of cardboard to as a guage to keep the picots even. Victorian sets of 4-4 for the stem. I did a few sets, attached a hook for earrings or a clasp for dangles, few more sets, long picot with green beads for leaf, a few more sets and another flower, in which I hid the ends. Can you follow that, or should I write a proper pattern?
I could probably guess & get something close, although I doubt it would be exactly the same... But that happens to be part of the fun, doesn't it!!????!!!? :)
They are so cute! I love them.
ReplyDeleteLove the earrings.

they're gorgeous! is there a pattern available for the dangle somewhere? I couldn't wear them as earrings, but I'd surely put dangles everywhere!!
