I raided a friend's button box. There were a lot of shirt buttons there, but it was surprisingly difficult to find sets of four or five. Luckily I found these wooden buttons in a shop:

I bought two packets which is not quite enough for all the shirts. But it has certainly saved me a lot of scratching like a hen looking for grain!

  2. I inherited my mom's buttons and there were barely any complete sets in there. I guess people keep 1 or 2 spare buttons of each kind...

  3. I would suggest if it wouldn't be too bad, to use 2 or 3 of one color and 2 or 3 of a coordinating color and then use one color then the other alternating them. But it's just a thought. ;)

    1. I’d happily do that for Jack’s shirts, but as these ones are being paid for, I don’t want them to look unprofessional.
