Thanks to everyone who read my blog in 2020, those who commented and those who didn't! I've sometimes wondered if I should continue my blog, now that my circumstances have changed and I seem to spend a fair amount of time in the kitchen rather that tatting and doing other crafts. But I like the interaction the blog brings; it's a good record for me; I know some friends and family use it to check up on me now and then... I shall go on.
Happy New Year to my blog readers and their families. I look forward to reading other blogs in 2021 and seeing all sorts of wonderful creations.
I've questioned keeping up my blog over the years. I've decided to keep going, because I'm motivated by the idea of posting something on a regular basis. It's the closest I've ever come to keeping a diary, and it has come in handy a few times when I want to remember when something happened. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the blogs to facebook or other mediums as things don’t get lost after a few hours like they do on social media. I use my blog as a place to store my work as much as anything and to give opinions too if I want to. Keep blogging, dear Jane, keep blogging.
ReplyDeleteLooks like we all have questioned it. Seems like lots of people have quit reading the blogs, but those that are faithful are sticking around, so I have decided to keep mine, plus I can show more on the blog than anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your family!! :)
I read, I read!! I don’t comment as much now because it’s a three-step process and online/in-person teaching is overwhelming at best. I love seeing all your projects, they are so diverse and interesting. I love that we are in different seasons and it’s so fun to see you talking about summer when it’s -19°C here! I love the fabrics and colors you choose, they are so lovely. And of course I love your tatting! I don’t blog much at all, no time but I do have instagram. Not nearly as satisfying but super quick. After reading Diane’s, maybe I need to think about blogging more. If you do stop, I hope you will use an alternative and LET US KNOW! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI don't comment often, but please, do continue your blog. Everything is interesting - the animals, tatting, sewing, other handwork, things you've done in the kitchen.... It's all good. :)

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope none of you stop blogging. Like so many have said I do read, follow links provided and really enjoy all the different content. It rounds out my day and I'm generally alone when I'm not at work. It keeps me from feeling like a total recluse. ;)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog and reading about your creative ideas, its a good record of the work your do. I love blogging and reading other blogs especially those from other countries and life styles, please keep your blog going I may not always comment but I do read and enjoy your blog
ReplyDeleteOh, you Should continue to blog, Jane! I may not learn/make/try everything you showcase, but I really enjoy reading every word you post, with a tip sprinkled in almost each post. I love your diversity.
ReplyDeleteThe thought to stop does creep up occasionally, but to me blogs are still the best, despite other formats becoming more popular.
A very happy 2021 to you and Jack, in all that you undertake. 💕
Happy new year! Don't stop blogging if you still have the time and enjoy doing it :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Jane! 🥂🥳
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog!
I agree with all comments up here. I spend a lot of time in facebook but I feel as I cannot use that as a diary, unlike the blog.
