Edging 87
I quite like the little triangular part, but overall I think this is rather too floppy. I can't see how it would work as an edging unless you cut the fabric to match it, with indentations where the triangles would fit. Or am I missing something?
I was thinking that one could join the 4 picots on the chain together and that would firm up the edging, and might even raise it to the same level as the triangles. It would make a nice scallop to the bottom of the edging if it didn't quite match up.......just a thought
Maybe it'd be nice if sewed on tulle (fabric), I've seen edgings sewed on nets in Tatting by T. de Dillmont
ReplyDeleteGood idea. I've seen it in the Julia Sanders book too.
ReplyDeleteA scalloped edge maybe?

ReplyDeleteI don't think it would work on a handy, looks more like a bridal edging to me
ReplyDeleteI like the triangle parts too!! And I agree with your thoughts. :)
