Annika's cardigan is ready to be posted off to her in Perth, for her third birthday. I hope it will arrive safely. The parcel with giraffe socks
and flower socks
never arrived in New Zealand. I have filled in a form to try to trace it, the parcel did have a tracking number, but I don't feel all that confident that it will turn up.
It's lovely! absolutely heartbreaking about the socks, they were so gorgeous - can you register this parcel?ReplyDelete
That's lovely, Jane. Beautifully knitted and I love the lacy edging. Really hope it arrives safely.ReplyDelete
What an adorable sweater! I hope it arrives safely. The socks may still show up... fingers crossed!ReplyDelete
This is beautiful and such tiny stitches the trim looks great, I sure hope all the items make it to proper destination that is sad news on the socks.ReplyDelete
Annika's sweater is gorgeous!!! So delicately elegant!, yet robust enough for child wear.ReplyDelete
I'm so, so sorry for the loss of the socks. They were a work of art! Katie V in NC
That is a precious sweater!!! :)ReplyDelete
That's awful that your package didn't get there!!
Such a lucky little girl to get such a lovely sweater! I hope her mama saves it for her so she can pass it on to her own daughter....ReplyDelete
What a beautiful heirloom garment!
Adorable ! Hope all the collective wishes have the strength to get all parcels to reach their destination safely & on time.ReplyDelete
It's a beautiful sweater. I'm sure she will love it. What a shame the socks never arrived. I hope they, too, get to their destination (while she is still small enough to WEAR them).ReplyDelete
Lovely, lovely sweater! Hope that everything will arrive, eventually. Fingers crossed!ReplyDelete
Annika is one fortunate girl. This sweater is glorious. I'm so hoping the socks will eventually reach their destination.ReplyDelete
Gorgeous sweater! Hopefully the missing package will turn up safely.ReplyDelete
Thanks for all the comments! Maureen, I will register the parcel, but it doesn't guarantee that it will arrive.ReplyDelete
Oh, so very distressing. Often things do arrive very late or are returned to sender for obscure reasons known only to the inner sanctum of the postal realm.ReplyDelete
The sweater looks like so many I made for my Grands - a sweet pattern it is. Makes me nostalgic for little people who wore those tiny ageless knitted beauties. My kids are now 5 -10, and big folks. If I did knit, the sweaters would be BIG!
I love it. The colour is perfect too. Nice work, Jane.
What a pity they lost your parcel, I hope it turns up.ReplyDelete
