Renulek's Doily
I've finished Renulek's doily. For those fond of statistics, the diameter is 64 cm or 25 inches. That's rather larger than the 45 cm the pattern says, so I wonder if Renulek used a thinner thread than my Coats Chain size 20.
Oh wow, it looks great! You inspired me to pick mine up again, and I have started the first snowflake with the yellow centre. Not very speedy, as I am tatting several things at once, but I appreciated your suggestion as I was totally blocked.
It was on my to-do list for a long time! It went more quickly than I expected, mostly because I could work on it in the evenings, since it's relatively straight forward.
Looks lovely, I don't know what thread renudeks used, but I think you did a lovely job. Well done. I am still tatting mine.
