Leaves

I'm very excited about my leaves in fishbone stitch. In the past I've struggled with satin stitch, fishbone stitch seems to go better. Of course I'll need more practice, but I think this will work well.

  3. I love the fishbone stitch for leaves and have used it because it gives a central vein with slanting threads. Unlike the Roumanian stitch which has a central spine, but the threads do not form a 'V'.
Your top (unattached) leaf is perfect !
