When I saw
this chart by Anita Artes, I thought it might work for beaded knitting. It does. I like it. I'm making a miniature version of the clutch bag I plan to make for competition. I'm going to try out the lining and construction as well as practising beaded knitting. I think it'll work as a purse or a holder for business cards, so it'll be useful as well as a practice run.
Wow! Gorgeous!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous design!!! :) Looks like you are doing a great job on it!! :)
ReplyDeleteGood choice and your workWOWmanship !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous design, love the dark and light shades of the beads. It's bound to win the competition. When is the closing date?
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! I love the geometric pattern. Please show us the finished purse too. Will you use a zipper to close it?
ReplyDeleteI plan an envelope type construction, maybe with a press stud.
DeleteOh not until early next year. I have another pattern in mind for the final piece.
ReplyDeleteIn reply to Anne.
DeleteThat is a fabulous pattern, I hope you can use it for your bag
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing Jane!!! The pattern is lovely, and your stitch work is very impressive: the edges are particularly straight, I'd have thought the beads would distort them. Your tension must have been very regular... two thumbs up (because I only have two hands ^_^). Is that the same combo size 8 beads + 1.5 mm needles + size 8 cotton thread?
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, same combination.
DeleteFantastic work and you are so creative would make a great beaded purse.💟
