From Paper to Fabric
I've translated my graph paper pattern, using embroidery thread on even weave fabric. And then added two tatted micro dragons, designed by Anne Bruvold. Why dragons? Because, I'm told, this is the year of the dragon.
Thanks everyone. Yes, Jon, I see no reason to rigidly separate different crafts! I like the idea of spinning thread for tatting, in theory, but it would have to be very smooth, it's probably not practical.
That's SOOOO cute with the dragons too. Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteThat took me five attempts to do the word verification on the previous comment. Wonder how many times for this to go?
ReplyDeleteOh goodness,I didn't even know there was word verification on my blog!

Very nice. I like the combination of different fibre arts together. Sometimes, just a small piece of tatting can enhance the whole picture.
