Two ladies came yesterday morning for a spinning lesson. Both of them did really well. Swathi is going to be travelling soon, so she thought it would be more sensible to learn to spin on a spindle rather than a spinning wheel. Ute brought carders with her and learnt to card too, as she has fleeces she wants to spin. We had an enjoyable morning!
The Kaffe Fassett cardigan is progressing. I'm above armhole level now, so rows are slightly shorter.
You have been busy! I think the knitting project is looking fun and colorful.
ReplyDeleteI would love to take more spinning lessons, if only I had more time! Your Kaffe Fassett cardigan looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to be able to share one's skills and for people to be willing to learn! This cardigan will give you a wide choice in the colour of your dress, LOL. 😍
ReplyDeleteSpinning seems to be very interesting. Our daughter had read about a drop spindle years ago and was interested in learning, but we didn't know anyone so she never learned.
ReplyDeleteYour cardigan is wonderful!! :)

That’s a shame. Nowadays you’d be able to find videos to learn. Thanks!
