A Mess of Geckos?

I tried to find out what the collective noun for geckos should be. The closest I could find was a 'mess of iguanas', according to tiny-on-line.  I hope my geckos aren't too messy!

  1. Not messy at all! I especially like the blue one with the beaded spine!

  2. Perhaps a "mass" of geckos? They look great!

  3. I'm going to guess that since in nature, you probably won't see geckos just staying together collectively, (like a herd of lions), they don't have a collective name. (I know nothing about geckos though, but they just don't seem like community animals)
    That's very interesting though.

I love the geckos! They are so cute!

    1. I'm sure you're right, I very much doubt that there is a collective noun for geckos! In Zimbabwe there used to be a man who whistled and called up great numbers of lizards to eat crumbs from his hand. But they're not normally seen in herds.

  4. Great to see them together like that, can just imagine them chattering to each other!
