The sun came out last week, so I was able to wash and dye the wool I'd spun. I've knitted one pair of socks in natural. The pink and green was dyed in the microwave. I'll make a start on knitting this it this evening, after I've finished off another tatted crinolene lady.
The socks look cosy and elegant!
ReplyDeleteWe've been having mixed weather ... an early onset of summer and then rains and cooler temps for the last few weeks. Not complaining at all, LOL.
Beautiful white socks! Dyeing in the microwave is new to me, I need to learn how to do it.
ReplyDeleteI think I first learnt about it in the Ashford book of dyeing. No good for big quantities, but it works well for a couple of skeins.
