I've finished knitting the blue/grey socks and started on another pair. I'm also spinning more wool, which I intend to make into fingerless gloves.
There seems to be a lot of turmoil on the Just Tatting facebook page. I'm wondering whether to ignore it or leave the group. Sure, copyright is important, but it's possible to take the concept to absurdity!
Your socks look great! I left that group a long time ago. I don't have the energy for nonsense.
ReplyDeleteOK, I've left the group. I'd like to think that dwindling numbers would give the administrators pause for thought, but I doubt it.
DeleteLove your socks and the colourways! I, along with a few others, got booted out of the group for standing up against the unilateral and totally absurd diktat. ;-D Oh and the membership number has stayed stagnant at 27K for the last two years (since admin changed).
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern on the socks. Agree copyright is important but you can’t copyright a technique and that’s what the moderator/admin doesn’t seem to understand. Absurdity is a good word in this case. I’m staying in the group for now but not going to comment in case anything I say is misconstrued.
