Jack's Gain

I've given up on the cardigan. Enough already! I'm using the yarn to knit a pullover for my husband instead. I liked this pattern as soon as I saw it. The friend who gave me the 'Knitted Favourites' magazine has knitted it twice, so that gives me confidence that I'm not dealing with another dodgy pattern. It's pretty straightforward, with just enough pattern to keep it interesting.

  2. That sweater looks similar to ones my mom knit for Dave and me our first Christmas together, nearly 36 years ago! Ours were in chocolate brown, and we both wore them until they fell apart. There's nothing like a good pullover! I'm sure your husband will love his.

  3. Funny, it looks like one I knitted for my son ages ago as well! Here's to patterns that work!

  4. As long as he doesn't wear holes in it....I have never forgotten that grey? - or was it green - pullover you knitted for him.

    1. :-) I did laugh. This will be a 'going to town' jersey, for a while anyway, no welding or grinding to burn holes in it!

  5. How frustrating for you! I'm glad you had the sense to give it up! Hubby will be happy!
