I Don't Think So

I spent an evening knitting Roam Cowl by Jennifer Dassau, but I'm not happy with it. The stitch pattern is easy, but laborious. Adding yarn overs on one row and eliminating them two rows later means very many stitches on such a long row. I feel as though the result doesn't warrant the effort involved. Also, I don't like the way the edges are curling. I think I'll do some contemplating before deciding on an alternative pattern. Feather and Fan perhaps?

  1. I can see the pretty holes in pattern (which I don't know how to make) I like that, but the rolling thing is no fun. Keep us posted :)

  2. That's a shame - never mind, there are so many thousands of patterns to choose from, you'll find one that pleases you!

  4. Perhaps the rolling will straighten once there is a bit of weight in the knitting? Or perhaps a heavier cast on might work. But, if you find it tedious, you might not enjoy the knitting. So,........
