It's A Wrap

Two wraps actually. My cousin became grandmother to twins last week - two babies, two wraps. I read about muslin wraps recently and thought that would be a good idea for summer babies. My version is hand dyed, with Ninetta's  kissing minnows on the blue one and Anne Bruvold's Christmas heart on the pink one, tatted in Tat-ilicious thread.

  1. Muslin as in Calico? - or the fabric that you strain cream cheese through?
Whatever it is, they are two gorgeous baby wraps for your cousin's grandchildren.

    1. Very light cotton, yes, like cheesecloth.

  2. Lovely blankets. I've made them from flannel - never muslin. Muslin is such a good idea.

    1. Yes, I had flannel ones for my babies too, but when I read about muslin ones, I thought, what a good idea.

  3. Looks like you tie dyed them too! This is really nice and looks like a good summer weight!
